Committees & councils

Dedicated to bringing new business to you
year in and year out

Serving on a committee, task force, or working group provides the opportunity to get to know other members well and grow your business. Sitting face to face working on issues that our industry faces is an outstanding way to grow your business. Few committees have standing monthly meetings except our State & Local Government Committee. Most of our committees operate as task forces and working groups to provide balance for our members in today’s rapid paced environment.

Land Development Council

The LDC is important to the development industry. Fighting back regulations that can cost the development community hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. We have working groups that address all planning commissions in Northern Kentucky, water districts, SD1, Duke and the phone and cable companies, as well as environmental issues. There isn’t a regulation involving residential development adopted in Northern Kentucky without our review and input. We urge you to join the BIA and get involved if nothing more than to give back to the organization that has given to your industry for over 60 years.
